Safaricom 7s Lands Intercontinental Hotel Sponsorship

Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi has today announced a Kshs. 3 million sponsorship for the 18^th edition of the Safaricom 7s rugby event slated to begin tomorrow, Friday, at the Moi Sports Center, Kasarani.

Speaking during the announcement, Intercontinental Hotel General Manager Africa Karl Hala said, “We are proud to be part of the Safari 7s tournament. This sponsorship is meant to ensure all the teams enjoy first class accommodation as they take part in what has arguably become the best 7s rugby competition in Africa.”

The money will go into accommodating all the participating rugby teams throughout the tournament including Uganda, Samurai, England Royals, Australia Renegades, Belgium, Zambia, Uganda, Grenoble, Samurai, Western Province, Rwanda, Botswana among others.

A total of 14 teams have already checked in at the hotel ready for the spectacle that will run for three days.
