Vapour, JMJ Academy, Gun for COPA Coca-Cola Nairobi Provincial Finals

The two teams that will join Makadara Juniors and Indomitable Dandora in the Nairobi provincial finals will be known this weekend as Nairobi West branch hosts its final leg matches at World Hope Center in Kawangware, Nairobi.

JMJ Academy and Vapour Academy look set to clinch the slots as the two teams occupy top and runners-up position respectively going into the weekend matches.

The two teams will both face Young Talents before they meet for a showdown that might determine who emerges tops should they both collect the three points against Talents as widely expected.

While renowned Academy side, JMJ, need only a draw to ensure their progress, Vapour need to look behind their shoulders because any slip ups may present either Terokayo or Young Talents with a chance to squeeze through. The other fixtures will see Terokayo and French School clash in what might just be a dead-rubber match. More Fire, who have already been eliminated, will play French School in the last boys’ encounter.

In the girls’ matches, Beijing Girls have already booked their slot but could spoil the party for Uweza FC who need to beat them to guarantee progress. Should Amazing Grace beat already eliminated Girls Soccer and Uweza fail to collect maximum points against Beijing, they will qualify for the July provincial finals.
