Luis Suarez Serves Up Anfield with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Prior to Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea at Anfield in a Barclays Premier League match on Sunday evening, Luis Suarez conducted an interview with the Sunday Times where he stated how his wife, Sofia, raps him up for arguing with the referee and other people rather than “concentrating on playing football”.

He further went ahead to reveal that if he didn’t heed his wife’s advice, she and their daughter, Delfina, will stop going to the field to watch the husband-cum-daddy play.

The wife and daughter must have felt totally let down on the evening of the interview though following the latest incident that threatens to blur the Uruguayan’s standing amongst not only his haters but fans and peers alike.

The fiery 26-year old had a game that could only be described as eventful. It was all going well for the Uruguayan until the 57th minute when he intentionally handled the ball in the penalty area to give Chelsea a penalty that Eden Hazard duly converted to make it 2-1. That was the bad.

A look at the face of the man nicknamed “El Pistolero” after gifting the Blues that penalty showed one of regret, despair, desperation and anger as Chelsea restored their lead following Oscar’s headed opener at the quarter hour mark and Daniel Sturridge’s equalizer against his former employers early in the second half.

Then it all boiled down to the ugly. Liverpool were desperately looking for an equalizer and Suarez, their point-man extraordinaire, was at the center of it. Frustration kicked in and Suarez appeared to have a bite of Branislav Ivanovic’s arm. The Serb brought that act to the attention of the referee who clearly missed the duo’s tussle. Truly an ugly part of a player known to court controversy.

But it didn’t end there. Why would it if the good side of the Uruguayan hadn’t reared its face. And that came in the last minute of added time as he headed in Liverpool’s second goal to ensure the match ended 2-2.

Truly a mixed evening for the former Ajax man. But he's given the media one hell of a "bite" to feed on.

And That's thesteifmastertake!!
